Make cards that hold gift cards!
The holidays are approaching and so is the gift giving season. These card designs from Card Ideas for Paper Crafters combine the card for the occasion with the gift card holder. What could be better? A sketch to tell you exactly where to place things sounds good to me. Here’s the sketch:
I have two interpretations of the sketch to share. The first is a tag that will make your holiday gift giving a breeze! Rae Barthel made her Merry Gift Tag using paper that included the dots from the sketch. She also made great use of another patterned paper and fussy-cut the Merry sentiment. Keep in mind that you may not be able to find this exact product (because this is a throwback project from a few years ago), but look for similar patterned paper, die cuts, or stickers.
Another occasion that I tend to give gift cards for are birthdays. And Kim Kesti created a fun card that is bright and happy. Her Sailboat Birthday card is perfect for a child or teenager. For an older person, change the sailboat to a cake or another icon. Plus, she made a downloadable pattern for the sailboat so you can customize it to match your gift card holder.
Use this gift card holder pattern for any occasion using your favorite supplies to create a truly one-of-a-kind gift.
